Description

This project is all about the sky. Though it is always the same sky, capturing these moments in different places makes each photo unique. The sky is a constant presence, no matter where I am in the world. By photographing the sky, I created a visual diary that helps me remember specific moments. This project aims to showcase the beauty of the sky and encourage people to take a moment to look up and appreciate it.

Posters

Based on the photos I took of the sky, I adjusted the colors to reflect what I see. I created a color palette based on the sky as I remember it because the colors I see in my memory differ emotions of coexisting situations rather than a single moment of feeling. Situations I don't remember are represented by empty space.

I represented the size of each element based on their significance in my memory, prioritizing whre I was, who I was with, and the emotions I felt at the time.

Process

I organized the photographs by the time of day they were taken and extracted color palettes from images.
Through this process, I aimed to highlight the transitions of the sky at sunrise and sunset. Additionally, I experimented to incorporate the concept of time zones, illustrating how the sky changes across different parts of the world.
