Inspired by Toy Story and the whimsical idea of toys coming to life, my teammate and I created an animation that captures this essence. Our project depicts imaginative objects from children’s imaginations illuminating and floating around the room after products from Dylan’s Candy Bar are purchased.

We aimed to convey that Dylan’s Candy Bar is a magical place, bursting with color at every turn, where joy is cultivated. Through our animation, we hope to evoke nostalgia in adults, transporting them back to the carefree days of their youth, while also captivating children with a dreamlike fantasy. Ultimately, we want to illustrate how a visit to this candy shop is not just about sweets, but an enchanting experience that brings happiness to people of all ages.

References

Our primary goal is to build a child's room and then shift our focus to creating delightful moments by incorporating round-shaped elements and warm, soft lighting, based on our references.

Process

We processed a lot of different camera angles and effects on Cinema 4D with vertex map.
